Ward not thinking about retirement

Hines Ward's days with the Pittsburgh Steelers could be numbered.

In fact, Saturday against St. Louis might be his final home game at Heinz Field, unless the Steelers can win the AFC North and secure a home playoff game.

Ward, 35, said he isn't worried about the future right now, and he says retirement is definitely not in the cards, despite the Steelers turning to younger alternatives like Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown at wide receiver.

"If not, I'm not going to retire any time soon. I'll play until the wheels fall off," Ward told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. "I feel like the move (less playing time) isn't any indication that I've fallen off or anything. When I was out there, I was open."
