Vikings won't allow Falcons to interview Jeff Davidson

The Minnesota Vikings may have given up on Leslie Frazier, but they don't seem ready to discard the rest of the coaching staff just yet.

According to a FOX Sports report, the Atlanta Falcons requested to interview Vikings' offensive line coach Jeff Davidson. Minnesota declined that request, which forces Atlanta to look elsewhere for an offensive line coach.

The Falcons fired co-offensive line coaches Paul Dunn and Pat Hill, along with defensive line coach Ray Hamilton, a couple of days ago.

The Vikings may want to keep Davidson on board for the time being to see if whichever head coach they hire wants to keep him.

If not, the Falcons will be free to contact him for that particular coaching position, as long as they haven't filled it by then.
