Vikings sticking with Josh Freeman for now

The Minnesota Vikings are sticking with Josh Freeman as their quarterback despite a dreadful debut in a loss to the New York Giants.

Freeman will start against the Green Bay Packers, coach Leslie Frazier announced.

Against the Giants, Freeman completed 20 of 53 passes and overthrew receivers constantly.

"The ball kind of sailed on him a few different times, but I don't think it was a lack of preparation," Frazier said.

Will he continue to start for the remainder of the season?

"I don't know if I've thought that far ahead," Frazier said.
