Unclear if Jadeveon Clowney will play Saturday

It's unclear if Houston Texans rookie outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney will play against the Denver Broncos on Satorday night.

Clowney didn't practice Thursday after getting hurt Wednesday.

Texans coach Bill O'Brien didn't say what's wrong with the top overall pick of the draft.

He said he hasn't determined if Clowney will play Saturday. Clowney had sports hernia surgery during the offseason.

O'Brien downplayed the injury, but it's a safe bet that if there's anything even minor wrong with Clowney he won't be played in a meaningless preseason game.
