Trueblood signs tender with Bucs

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced this morning that right tackle Jeremy Trueblood has signed his tender as a restricted free agent.

Trueblood, a second-round draft pick in 2006, was tendered at the second-round level and is slated to earn $1.759 million this season.

He has been a fixture on the offensive line since his rookie season as he’s made 61 consecutive starts. With Trueblood now under contract, only two Bucs have yet to sign their tenders – linebacker Barrett Ruud and left tackle Donald Penn. Both are key to the rebuilding process aboard the pirate ship.
