Troy wide receiver Chandler Worthy has drawn interest from the St. Louis Rams, Houston Texans and the Atlanta Falcons.

"The draft process has been going pretty well," Worthy said in a telephone interview. "I'm just waiting for the draft to come up. It's been a positive process. The scouts have been saying I did everything above and beyond. A couple people have questioned my height, but I can play. I didn't have much of a quarterback to work with, but, on film, they can see that the explosiveness and play-making ability is there."

Worthy caught 44 passes for 428 yards and three touchdowns last season, finishing with 137 career receptions for 1,767 yards and 11 touchdowns.

At his campus Pro Day workout, he ran the 40-yard dash in 4.34 seconds, had a 39 1/2 inch vertical leap, an 11-5 broad jump, bench pressed 225 pounds 17 time and had a 4.00 short shuttle.

"It went pretty well," Worth said. "I was happy with it."

As a junior, he caught 24 passes for 398 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for a touchdown.

"I bring explosiveness and hard work to the table," Worthy said. "I'm a guy who will buy in 100 percent and be able to produce on special teams and at wide receiver."

As a sophomore, he had 94.2 all-purpose yards per game and had 507 kickoff return yards, 544 receigving yards and 79 rushing yards. He caught nine passes for 154 yards against Louisiana-Lafayette.

He was an all-freshman selection who caught touchdown passes in three of the final five games of the season.

Worthy rushed for 398 yards, had 64 tackles and two interceptions, returned kicks and ran track in high school in Georgia.
