Titans add WR Walter, OL Spencer

No team has been more aggressive in trying to fill holes in its roster than the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans were at it again on Monday, agreeing to deals with wide receiver Kevin Walter and offensive lineman Chris Spencer on one-year contracts.

Walter comes over from the Houston Texans, where he was released after having 41 catches a year ago and spening the past seven seasons there. He fills the need for a slot receiver in Tennessee.

Meanwhile, Spencer, who has been with the Chicago Bears, will add to the center/guard mix the Titans have created with the signing of Andy Levitre, Rob Turner and the tendering of Fernando Velasco.

Those deals bring the number of free agents added by the Titans to 12 players this off-season.
