Getting injured while celebrating is one of the worst ways to end a season.

That's what happened to Detroit Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch, who tore his ACL while celebrating a sack in the first quarter of his team's 19-7 win over the Packers. This is the injury The National Football Post's Dr. David Chao predicted for Tulloch for his Monday Morning MD post after watching the tape from the game.

Tulloch got up from the ground after the sack, jumped in the air and landed on both legs before swinging his arms across his body. But shortly after he landed to the ground, his leg buckled and he fell to the turf. Trainers took a look at him, though he attempted to go back in on Detroit's next defensive series. It only last one play.

On Monday, Lions coach Jim Caldwell told reporters that Tulloch tore his ACL.

This injury is similar to that of former Cardinals kicker Bill Gramatica, who famously celebrated a made field goal early in a game, only to tear his ACL.
