Steelers sign Ben Roethlisberger to extension

The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed quarterback Ben Roethlisberger to a contract extension.

Roethlisberger was entering the final year of a $102 million contract signed in 2008.

The Steelers opened contract extensions less than a month ago.

Roethlisberger excelled last season. He set franchise records for passing yards and completions and tied his club record with 32 touchdown passes. He's won 116 career games. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
