Wyoming looked like it might be close to legalized sports betting in early 2020, but it took until 2021 for the bills to succeed when Gov. Mark Gordon signed it.
House bills 153, 234 and 225 had failed in the Wyoming legislature but later was approved after rules and regulations were inked in August 2021.

But that progress gives hope for more Wyoming sports betting legalization pushes to happen in 2021, when rules were approved in August and betting commenced Sept. 1.
What about mobile sports betting apps in Wyoming?
Draft Kings and BetMGM participated in setting the rules and both went live with apps on Sept. 1, 2021. FanDuel sportsbook came along in March 2022, with others – Barstool, PointsBet and Caesars applying thereafter.
