Colorado State-Pueblo outside linebacker-defensive end Darius Allen visited the Arizona Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts and had private workouts for the Cardinals, Colts, Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys.
Allen is regarded as a rising draft prospect.
The 6-foot-2, 241-pounder ran the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds at his campus Pro Day workout and three NFL teams had him at 4.66. He bench pressed 225 pounds 19 times and had a 31 1/2 inch vertical leap, a 9.6 broad jump, a 4.3 short shuttle and a 7.06 three-cone drill.
Allen led Division II with 15 1/2 sacks as a junior and was named All-American. He won the Gene Upshaw award as the nation's top Division II lineman.
As a senior, Allen had nine sacks and 14 tackles for losses with three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries and 43 tackles and was named All-American again and all-conference and conference Defensive Player of the Year.
In 43 career games, Allen had 180 tackles with 34 1/2 sacks, 58 tackles for loss, nine forced fumbles with six fumble recoveries.
