Source: 49ers working out, giving physical to center-guard Ben Gottschalk

Former Kansas City Chiefs and Tampa Bay Buccaneers center-guard Ben Gottschalk is working out and taking a physical today with the San Francisco 49ers, according to a league source. Gottschalk previously worked out for the Green Bay Packers. Gottschalk is a former Chiefs practice squad center. He participated in the NFL veteran combine.
