Slimmed down LenDale White enjoying Seattle

Put a veteran running back with his old coach and guess what? He shows up looking like he did when he played for the coach.

That is what has happened with LenDale White, who apparently has found tremendous motivation this season after being traded from the Tennessee Titans to the Seattle Seahawks, where he has hooked up with his old college coach Pete Carroll.

A slimmed down White is showing his stuff in the team’s minicamp this weekend. After weighing 260 pounds or more at times in Tennessee, White is at 218 and looking good as he looks to jump-start his young career at 25.

"I feel great, man," White said, according to Danny O’Neil of the Seattle Times. "A long-time coming. I've been through situations. Everybody knows my past, out of shape LenDale, this and that.

"For me to come in here in shape, 225, just feeling good, I feel great, man. Best I've felt in my career. Last year, I felt good going into camp, but this is the greatest I've felt. I didn't have to work this offseason and get no weight off. It already was off, and I just had to condition it and keep it down."

White could turn out to be a real find for the Seahawks, who have surrounded themselves with players Carroll has coached before.
