According to Tuesday’s transaction report by the NFL, wide receiver Ricardo Lockette has officially signed a tender offer with the Seattle Seahawks. Lockette was an exclusive rights free agent this offseason, and had previously announced over social media that he would be returning to the team for 2015. The Seattle Times had previously reported that the one-year deal is worth $660,000.

The 28-year-old wide receiver is most well-known for being involved in Seattle’s ill-fated final play in Super Bowl XLIX. Quarterback Russell Wilson was targeting Lockette with his goal line pass, before it was intercepted by cornerback Malcolm Butler.

The Seahawks signed Lockette as an undrafted free agent in 2011. It took until 2013, for him to make the team’s 53-man roster, spending time on other teams’ practice squads in the process. 

Over 26 regular season games with the Hawks, the wide receiver has hauled in 18 receptions for 382 yards and three touchdowns. On special teams, Lockette has made seven tackles and forced two fumbles.
