Report: Six teams interested in Sensabaugh

Dallas Cowboys safety Gerald Sensabaugh is drawing some interest.

The agent for the five-year veteran out of North Carolina told Kevin Conner of the Dallas Morning News that a total of six teams have called to inquire about his client.

The Cowboys recently put a second-round tender on Sensabaugh, which comes with a 2010 salary of $1.809 million. Any team interested in acquiring his services is free to make the safety an offer. However, Dallas would then have seven days to match the deal.

Should they choose to decline, the Cowboys would lose Sensabaugh but would gain a second-round draft pick as compensation.

The 26-year-old started 15 games for Dallas in 2009, recording 66 tackles (47 solo) and one interception. Prior to signing with the Cowboys in 2009, Sensabaugh spent the previous four years of his career with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
