Report: Psychic tells McNabb he'll be back in Philly

Donovan McNabb is returning to the Philadelphia Eagles.

A psychic told him so.

Brace yourself, folks, because this is going to be a wild ride in Philadelphia until the Eagles either definitively say that McNabb is staying put or they make a move with the franchise’s quarterback. Don’t expect either one to happen any time soon.

"I have a psychic and she told me; she said, 'Good things are to happen in Philadelphia and it's going to be really good for you,' " McNabb told reporters at the Pro Bowl by doing his best Jamaican impersonation. " 'Just relax. You'll get what you need.' "

As Andy Kent of the Philadelphia Daily News notes, McNabb is entering the final year of his contract and that is what is prompting so much speculation. Plus, there would be a handful of suitors for him if he were to become available. If Brett Favre doesn’t return in Minnesota, Vikings coach Brad Childress would no doubt love to reunite with McNabb.

Andy Reid has said McNabb will be back, but there is just a feeling that something has to give in Philadelphia where McNabb, Kevin Kolb and Michael Vick are all not expected to return. Could two depart? Why not?

"Why wouldn't I be (back)? We've been going through this the last two or three years and I've been in one spot," McNabb said. "I don't want to be anywhere else but Philly, and Andy came out to say it and the guys want me back and that's the most important thing."
