Report: Jets shopped Revis at Combine
The New York Jets, despite their denials to the contrary, were shopping cornerback Darrelle Revis at the NFL Combine, according to the New York Daily News.
According to the report, any trade talks for Revis are being conducted solely by general manager John Idzik with owner Woody Johnson in the loop. Jets coach Rex Ryan is not involved in the process.
In terms of dealing Revis, any potential suitor would want to see whether or not the cornerback's knee is healthy. He suffered a torn ACL in September and required season-ending surgery. The timetable of Revis' recovery could push any trade discussions into the summer.
