Report: DeAngelo Hall will get fine, not suspension

DeAngelo Hall will not have to sit out a game after being ejected for an altercation with an official last week during the Washington Redskins’ loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

But the veteran cornerback will have a fine along with a warning that future misconduct could lead to a timeout in the form of a suspension, according to Mark Maske of the Washington Post. That means Hall will play Sunday when the Redskins host the Carolina Panthers at FedEx Field.

Hall said during a radio interview earlier this week that the official was “equally at fault.” Obviously, the NFL isn’t going to see it that way and it would not be surprising if it is a steep fine that sends a message to Hall and others.
