Report: Chan Gailey could be headed to Buffalo

The search for the next head coach of the Buffalo Bills may finally be coming to an end.

Jay Glazer of FoxSports.com just tweeted that former Dallas Cowboys head coach Chan Gailey met with the Bills last week and is expected to meet with the team again today.

“Barring a breakdown 2day, he’s the guy,” tweeted Glazer.

Gailey went 18-14 as the head coach of the Cowboys from 1998-1999. He was 0-2 in the playoffs.

If Gailey gets the job in Buffalo, it will conclude a search in which the Bills were told no by more coaches than the Jacksonville Jaguars have had in the history of their organization.

Buffalo Bills interim head coach Perry Fewell was fired after the conclusion of the regular season.
