Ravens bring back LaQuan Williams
Wide receiver LaQuan Williams is re-joining the Baltimore Ravens this offseason.
Williams announced the signing on his personal twitter account.
"Feels good to be back home #RavensNation," Williams tweeted.
Teammate Torrey Smith, who also played college football with Williams at the University of Maryland, tweeted a reaction to the news as well.
"My bro @i_amQUAN is back where he belongs #RavensNation," Smith wrote.
Williams was an undrafted free agent in 2011 and signed with the Ravens, the only team to give him a tryout. He made the 53-man roster and held his spot through the 2012 season. He suffered a hamstring injury in the final preseason game of the 2013 season and was waived/injured on Sept. 1.
Williams briefly spent time with New England during the year.
Mainly a special teams player, Williams has recorded four catches for 46 yards in game action.
