Randy Hanson returns to Raiders in new role

From the San Francisco Chronicle:

Raiders coach Tom Cable confirmed the return of Randy Hanson to the building, and he didn't appear all to thrilled.

After the press conference Wednesday, the first thing he asked a media relations employee was, 'Who told them about Randy?'

Cable said he was surprised to hear about Hanson's return to work four months after the two were involved in a training camp altercation that resulted in Hanson going to a hospital with a broken jaw.

Cable then said it's "behind us" and that his focus was completely on the team and Sunday's game against the Redskins.

Hanson is now working with the personnel department. No word on if he intends to still pursue a cival lawsuit after the Napa police declined to press charges against Cable.
