No Lisfranc injury for Adrian Peterson

For the time being, it appears Adrian Peterson can breathe a sigh of relief.

Initial tests showed that Peterson, who injured his foot in a wild 29-26 loss to the Ravens on Sunday, did not wind up with the dreaded Lisfranc injury, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.

Peterson's status remains unknown as he will undergo further evaluation.

In other Vikings news, the organization announced that tight end Kyle Rudolph (foot) is heading to the injured reserve list.
