The NFL Draft will have a new look in 2010.

For the first time in league history, the draft will be a three-day affair that begins with coverage of the first round on Thursday, April 22. Rounds two and three will take place on Friday and rounds four through seven will be held on Saturday.

As a result, the league is considering inviting some of the top projected second-round prospects to Radio City Music Hall—the site of the 2010 draft, according to Alex Marvez of FOXSports.com.

In previous years, the NFL invited a handful of top prospects to New York to appear live on stage after their names were called during the first round of the draft. However, now that rounds two and three will take place Friday night during primetime, the NFL is looking into the possibility of having some of the popular players expected to fall to the second round appear in New York as well.

This, of course, opens the door to have the ever-popular Tim Tebow on hand to boost ratings.

Tebow’s agent, Jimmy Sexton, told Marvez that the quarterback has not yet decided on where he will be during the draft. But rest assured, if the NFL does plan to invite projected second-rounders to the draft, Tebow will be pursued heavily.

Everywhere he’s gone this offseason, from the Senior Bowl to the Combine, Tebow has been the biggest attraction.
