The most serious problem Ndamukong Suh faces is potential discipline from the NFL that could include a suspension, a penalty that will not only hurt him but his team.

Then, there is the fallout off the field for Suh, who lost control on Thursday when he slammed the helmet of Green Bay Packers guard Evan Dietrich-Smith into the turf repeatedly and then stomped on him. As Eric Lacy of the Detroit News detailed, Suh faces ramifications off the field as he cements a reputation for being a dirty player. It’s possible he could lose lucrative endorsement money.

“We have nothing to announce," Chrysler advertising spokesperson Dianna Gutierrez said in a text message to The Detroit News.

Chrysler’s ad campaign involving Suh has been very successful but his image is being tattered. Suh is also a pitch man for Subway and the restaurant chain declined to comment, per the report. He also lists Nike and Omaha Steaks as companies he represents.

So, Lacy asked Russell Spielman, Suh’s agent for marketing, if he is concerned this will affect his client.

"I'm not in a position to discuss any of this right now," Spielman said.

There might not be much to talk about at all if Suh doesn’t radically change the way he handles himself on the field soon.
