Long-time Indianapolis Colts offensive coordinator Tom Moore, who has been serving as a consultant for the New York Jets this season, will remain with the Jets for the remainder of the season.

Moore had only been an occasional visitor to the Jets in his role, but now will remain with the team, according to the New York Post.

While some might see this as a threat to offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer's role, the Jets and Moore insist it is not, that Moore is simply in an advisory capacity.

“Brian runs the show,” Moore said. “Brian is the coordinator and has done and is doing, in my opinion, a tremendous job.”
