Michael Sam invited to NFL veteran scouting combine

Former St. Louis Rams and Dallas Cowboys defensive end Michael Sam has accepted an invitation to the NFL scouting combine, according to a source. Sam will be joined by veteran quarterback Vince Young and former Tennessee Titans and Washington Redskins defensive tackle DaJohn Harris. Sam was with the Cowboys' practice squad after being released by the Rams. Sam is the first openly gay active player in NFL history.
