Sometimes things happen when you least expect it.

Unfortunately, in the case of Jeremiah Masoli, we probably should have expected this.

According to reports, Oregon has dismissed its suspended quarterback from the team after he incurred multiple charges following a traffic stop on Monday night.

The dynamic signal-caller, who was ruled out for the 2010 season after pleading guilty to burglary charges following a January episode at a fraternity house, was reportedly charged with possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, driving with a suspended license and failure to stop at a driveway or sidewalk.

The 21-year-old Masoli led the Ducks to the Rose Bowl in January and was selected to the All-Pac-10 second team after completing 177-of-305 passes with 15 touchdowns and six interceptions. In addition, he ran for 668 yards and 13 scores.

He has one season of college football eligibility remaining.
