Josh Freeman zips the ball well in practice

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers should be ready to roll with quarterback Josh Freeman on Sunday when they tangle with Jacksonville Jaguars.

Freeman didn’t play last Sunday because of soreness in his right throwing shoulder. Freeman was zipping the ball well during the portion of practice that was open to media, according to the St. Petersburg Times. The threw some slant routes and deep balls with good velocity.

While it’s not a definite Freeman will play, this is a good sign. Josh Johnson replaced him last week when the Bucs were blown out at home by the Carolina Panthers.
