Jets re-sign Willie Colon

The New York Jets have kept starting right guard Willie Colon in the fold, signing him to a one-year, $870,000 deal. Colon wrote on Twitter: "happy to be back wearing the Green & White." Colon re-signed after the Jets signed free agent guard James Carpenter to a four-year, $19.1 million deal to play left guard. Colon, 31, started every game the past two seasons. Colon was penalized 14 times last season, leading the NFL at the guard position. Follow me on Twitter: @RavensInsider Aaron Wilson covers the Ravens for The Baltimore Sun
