Jeremy Shockey seeks apology from Warren Sapp, NFL

Warren Sapp called out Jeremy Shockey and the problem is he got the wrong guy.

Sapp fingered Shockey as the snitch for the Bountygate in New Orleans. The only problem is Shockey, Saints coach Sean Payton and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell have all said Shockey wasn’t the whistleblower.

Shockey has been piping mad since and now TMZ.com reports Shockey wants an apology from Sapp and the NFL for the accusation that was made on the NFL’s own NFL Network.

Shockey is lawyered up and is considering legal action. What kind of success he could have taking a legal route remains to be seen. It seems the least the league could do is apologize on the same network airwaves Sapp used to attack him.
