Jenn Sterger to do TV interview

Ready for more Favrepalooza?

It’s on the way. Jenn Sterger, the former sideline reporter for the New York Jets and alleged receiver of lewd texts from Brett Favre, will be giving her first interview since the story broke on Deadspin during last season, Favre’s last in the NFL.

USA Today’s Michael McCarthy reports that Sterger will be interviewed by George Stephanopoulos on ABC’s “Good Morning America.” It’s a two-part interview that will be aired Tuesday and Wednesday.

The case – Favre allegedly texted pictures of his privates to Sterger – drew considerable attention. The NFL ultimately fined Favre $50,000 because he was less than forthcoming in the league’s investigation into the matter.

Steger had been a bad host on a bad show – “The Daily Line” on Versus – but was taken off the air in October. Per the report, she is now represented by a high-powered PR firm – Susan Blond Inc. in New York – and she is trying to rebuild her career.

We’ll see what comes out of the television interview.
