Jammal Brown's hip sidelining him

One of the biggest keys to a quick turnaround in Washington will be the development of a rebuilt offensive line.

The Redskins are battling some issues upfront, though, as Jammal Brown, projected to be the right tackle is sidelined for the fifth straight day with a hip injury, according to John Keim of the Washington Examiner.

The Redskins traded with New Orleans to acquire the two-time Pro Bowl left tackle and planned to insert him on the right side with first-round draft pick Trent Williams manning the left tackle spot. It’s a development that has to be of concern. For the time being, Stephon Heyer is filling in at right tackle.

Brown missed all of last season with the Saints and underwent surgery to repair his hip. He’s already had an MRI and nothing has been said that would lead you to believe anything is serious. Still, Brown needs to get out on the practice field.
