Jaguars place Toby Gerhart on injured reserve

Jacksonville Jaguars running back Toby Gerhart was placed on injured reserve with a groin injury. He was replaced on the roster by wide receiver Rashad Lawrence, who was promoted from the practice squad. Signed last year, Gerhart rushed for 326 yards and two touchdowns on 101 carries last season. He rushed for 44 yards on 20 carries this season, missing the first two games of the season then two more in early November. He played the last two games, but did not play on offense.
