Jackson officially ruled OUT for Week 7

It took a few days for the official announcement, but we could all see this one coming.

Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson has been ruled out for Week 7 due to a concussion he suffered last Sunday against Atlanta.

In case you somehow missed it (and if you did, what the hell have you been doing with yourself?) here’s the hit that sent Jackson to the locker room early last week.

The Eagles are on the bye in Week 8 and the hope is that D-Jax will be ready to return to action in Week 9 when the Birds host the Indianapolis Colts.

In other Eagles news, offensive tackle Jason Peters and defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley have also been ruled out for Sunday’s game at Tennessee.

Look for former Michigan wideout Jason Avant to step up and get some love this weekend.
