Harrison has scope on knee

Earlier in the day, it was reported that James Harrison might need arthroscopic surgery on his ailing knee, which has had swelling behind the knee cap.

That surgery has now been performed and went well, according to Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Still, the typical recovery time for a player who has had his knee scoped is two to four weeks, which would put Harrison's availability for the season opener in peril.
