Foster, Tate both iffy for Texans
With Arian Foster and Ben Tate, the Houston Texans came into the eason with arguably the best one-two punch in the NFL at running back.
But now with Tate battling a rib injury and Foster bothered by a hamstring, the Texans find themselves hamstrung at the running back spot entering this week's game against the Indianapolis Colts.
"I’m very concerned. We understand Ben’s situation. I think they’re both going to give us everything they can to try and play this week. I don’t think we’re going to know anything until later in the week, which is probably a good thing," Coach Gary Kubiak told the Houston Chronicle.
If the Texans are without Foster and Tate, the running game will be left in the hands of Deji Karim, Ray Graham and Dennis Johnson.
