Donald Penn red hot following report about his weight

Donald Penn came back swinging.

Upset at the report by Mark Cook of PewterReport.com that he had failed to meet his target weight at the majority of his recent weigh-ins for the team, Penn launched an assault via his personal Twitter account.

At first, Penn thought the report was originally generated by Pro Football Talk. That wasn’t the case, however, and he eventually learned Pewter Report was the original source. Here is a sampling of what Penn sent out via Twitter:

@PewterReport keep reporting bullshit on me n see the next time I do a interview wit u yo shit is lies get the facts 1st Cook b4 u say shit”

@ProFootballTalk 330 right now in the best shape I been in in a long time stop reporting bullshit I made all my weigh in last yr n this yr

@ProFootballTalk I still shut down the best DEs in the game n ball out every Sunday I gave up 4 sacks all yr last season get yo shit right

@DPenn70 This article here is some bullshit n false I been working hard n putting in work messed up my whole weekend

@DPenn70 I can't wait 4 the season 2 start now so I can do what I been doing my whole life proving people wrong #Truth

So, there you have it. Penn seems motivated to prove people wrong and he is adamant that his conditioning and shape is a non-issue.
