Does Eddie Lacy have a weight issue?

Sometimes a picture is worth a 1,000 words and sometimes it can be a distorted angle.

But Green Bay Packers rookie running back Eddie Lacy of the University of Alabama appears to not be in the greatest shape (unless you consider round a great shape) early in training camp, if this photo sent out by Dan Turczynski on Twitter is the criteria to judge by.

Lacy, who ran over Notre Dame in the BCS National Championsip Game, is listed at 5-11, 230 pounds on the Packers' website, but the aforementioned photo suggests he might not be that svelte as he embarks on his first pro camp.

One NFL scout confirmed to NFP that Lacy has weight problems, something that might help explain why the hero of the national title game fell to the bottom of the second round where the Packers pounced on him. Of course, the Pack also picked Jonathan Franklin in the same draft to hedge their bets with Lacy, who was the fourth running back taken in the draft..
