Derrick Brooks gets back into football

Derrick Brooks is back in professional football.

The future Hall of Fame linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will be named the president of the Tampa Bay Storm today, reports Roy Cummings of the Tampa Tribune.

Brooks, 37, retired last year after he spent 2009 out of the game following his release from the Bucs when they began a youth movement. The 11-time Pro Bowl performer has done broadcast work since retiring but will now get into the business side of the sport in the Arena Football League.
