DeAngelo Hall: Redskins should change their name

Cornerback DeAngelo Hall has spent the past six seasons with the Washington Redskins.

After appearing on FOX Sports' "Keepin' it Real with Mike Hill," he may have ensured he won't be back for a seventh. Scheduled to be a free agent this offseason, Hall was asked about the Redskins' team name, which has become a hot topic as to whether the franchise should change it or not.

“I think eventually they will change it,” said Hall, via the Washington Post.

“They probably should,” he added. “But they won’t for a while at least.”

Redskins owner Dan Snyder has previously said the Redskins will never change their team name as long as he's the owner.

And with Snyder in control of the franchise, he may not want an aging cornerback that's not in tune with what he wants on the roster anymore.
