Cowboys activate Tony Romo from injured reserve-designated to return

The Dallas Cowboys made it official, activating star quarterback Tony Romo from injured reserve-designated to return. Romo practiced all week, participating fully twice. He was out with a broken collarbone while the Cowboys endured a seven-game losing streak. Romo is trying to rally the 2-7 Cowboys. "I don't think that anyone in this locker room thinks by any means that the season is over, and I think they understand," Romo said Wednesday. "I have conveyed that message to them. I think our coach has. You can tell by the way they play. You lose enough games, it can creep in where it feels that way. I just think our team has given 100 percent effort and commitment. That is exciting to see." Follow me on Twitter: @AaronWilson_NFL Aaron Wilson covers the Texans for The Houston Chronicle.
