Chiefs held out Jamaal Charles Sunday night due to minor foot injury

The Kansas City Chiefs held running back Jamaal Charles out of Sunday's game due to precautionary reasons because of a minor foot injury.

“With Jamaal Charles, he twisted his foot and kind of freak thing,” Chiefs coach Andy Reid said. "It didn’t happen at practice. It was after practice. We were leaving and so, we held him out. Precautionary measures. I think he’s going to be fine but I left him back at home. We’ll go from there but he’s doing well.”

The Chiefs don't seem overly concerned about Charles' status going forward.
