Chargers' Jammer critical of refs in loss to Jets

San Diego Chargers cornerback Quentin Jammer said he wasn't going to blame the refs for his team's 27-21 loss to the New York Jets on Sunday.

Then, Jammer went ahead and blamed Ron Winter and his crew for calls made that he felt cost the Chargers a chance at claiming the road victory.

"Yeah -- consistently bad. No way it was called fairly. No way. Not at all. It wasn't called fairly at all. Maybe I'm being biased, but I'm just judging off what I saw. It wasn't a fair game called," Jammer told the New York Post.

Jammer said he held his tongue during the game, but afterwards let loose with his opinions that could have him hearing from the league this week.

"What can you say? You don't want to upset the refs," Jammer said. "At the same time, you want to say, 'Hey, c'mon, let's call this thing fairly.' It's football -- you've got to let us play. Just let us play.
