CFL wide receiver to be eligible for NFL draft

Two CFL wide receivers made the jump to the NFL in the option year of their contracts, and another is going to try to make the transition via the draft.

Terence Jeffers-Harris will be eligible for the April draft, his agent Gil Scott told Adam Caplan of FoxSports.com.

Jeffers-Harris had an impressive rookie season in the CFL, catching 44 passes for 547 yards and four touchdowns as a member of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Per the report, Jeffers-Harris will be able to work out for teams prior to the draft provided he has permission from the Blue Bombers.

If drafted, the NFL team selecting him could buy out the remainder of his CFL contract. Andy Fantuz and Emmanuel Arceneaux already left their CFL teams for the NFL. Fantuz signed with the Chicago Bears and Arceneaux joined the Minnesota Vikings.
