Broncos sign seventh-rounder Corey Nelson

The Denver Broncos have signed seventh-round linebacker Corey Nelson.

Nelson is the first of the Broncos' draft picks to agree to terms.

He had 27 tackles, three for losses, one sack and an interception returned for a touchdown as a senior.

Nelson had a torn pectoral as a senior.

He was an honorable mention All-Big 12 selection once, recording 153 tackles for his career with 17.5 tackles for losses and 6.5 sacks.

Nelson notched 153 total tackles in his career, including 17.5 tackles for loss and 6.5 sacks.
