Brett Favre coaching in Mississippi high school championship game

Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre is the offensive coordinator for Oak Grove High School.

And Oak Grove faces Tupelo in the Mississippi high school state championship in Jackson on Friday.

"Who knows if I'll do it next year," Favre told the Associated Press. "I really don't know. It's been a lot of fun. I enjoy it. It's easy and it's not too time-consuming."

Retired from the NFL, the 44-year-old is enjoying his time with family, coaching and watching his youngest daughter play volleyball.

He has no plans to return to playing and has taken to his new role as a coach.

"As strange as this may sound, he's just become one of the coaches," Oak Grove quarterback Kirk McCarty said. "He doesn't want special treatment and he doesn't get any. He's held to the same standard as everyone else."
