Monday is a big day in Oklahoma.

Quarterback Sam Bradford—who many believe will be the first pick off the board in next month’s draft—will work out for NFL personnel in Norman today.

The 6’4”, 223-pounder was originally scheduled to throw on March 25, but pushed the workout back until March 29 due to the NFL owners meetings. Bradford and agent Tom Condon wanted to make it easier for NFL coaches and front office executives to attend.

The 22-year-old junior appeared in just three games in 2009 after suffering an AC Joint injury in Oklahoma’s 14-13 season-opening loss to BYU. In three seasons with the Sooners, Bradford threw for 8,403 yards and 88 touchdowns.

The St. Louis rams—who own the first selection in the 2010 draft—are expected to be in attendance. General manager Billy Devaney and offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur traveled to Florida earlier this month to meet with Bradford.

The big question is where will Bradford end up if the Rams decide to pass on the draft’s top quarterback prospect? The Redskins would be a fit at No. 4, as would the Seahawks at No 6, Browns at No. 7 and Bills at No. 9.

If the Oklahoma quarterback doesn’t go No. 1, expect to see a trade-up for his services similar to last year when the Jets swapped picks with the Browns to land USC quarterback Mark Sanchez.

In addition to Bradford’s workout, Newberry and Texas A&M Kingsville will host pro days on Monday as well.
