Bills claim Brandon Burton

Cornerback Brandon Burton, who was placed on waivers by the Minnesota Vikings, was claimed to Buffalo's 53-man roster on Sunday.

In two seasons with the Vikings, Burton appeared in 14 games with one start. He was drafted in the fifth round of the 2011 draft after playing college football at Utah.

In three seasons, from 2008-2010, with the Utes, Burton started 25 games and notched 101 tackles, three interceptions and 18 pass deflections. Burton will wear jersey No. 29 with the Bills.
