Biggs: Snap decision made for NFC Pro Bowl team

This was a snap decision made easy. Philadelphia Eagles long snapper Jon Dorenbos has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl roster as a need player. It’s the first all-star honor for the eight-year veteran and he becomes the seventh Eagle to join the NFC squad.

Dorenbos’ past is a dark one but he’s endured to become an inspiration for many. He witnessed the murder of his mother by his father when he was young. According to the team, he took up magic as a boy to help ease his pain and has become so good that he’s been hired to do shows in Las Vegas and Hollywood.

There’s no magic in his long snapping. Eagles kickers David Akers is in the Pro Bowl too after leading the conference with 139 points. Dorenbos joins other Eagles Trent Cole, DeSean Jackson, Jason Peters, Asante Samuel and Leonard Weaver.
