Biggs: Dallas punter McBriar has knee scope
Dallas Cowboys punter Mat McBriar underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee today, a minor procedure to just clean it out, the Dallas Morning News reported.
McBriar is expected to be at full strength when the Cowboys begin their offseason program, according to his agent Jack Bechta. In full disclosure, Bechta is a principal founder of the National Football Post.
He enjoyed one of his finest seasons with a career-high 39.9-yard net average. McBriar was third in the league with 38 punts inside the 20-yard line and forced 23 fair catches, tied for fourth in the league.
